About
At 2087 metres, Mont Aiguille is one of the 7 wonders of the Dauphiné. Follow in the footsteps of Antoine Deville to conquer Mont Inaccessible, whose ascent in 1492 is considered the birth of mountaineering.
At the crossroads of hiking, climbing and via ferrata, Mont Aiguille is an introduction to mountaineering. After an ascent along a forest path, we arrive at the foot of the normal route to progress roped up along the wall, using the rocks and cables as a guide. The reward is the arrival at the summit and its 360° view of the Vercors. The descent takes you under the famous arch to the two abseils that lead back to the forest trail. This climb requires a decent level of fitness.
