Follow the combe through which a babbling brook flows under a Mediterranean canopy to a balcony with breathtaking views of the Glandasse cliffs, the Roman tile roofs of Châtillon and the highest rows of vines in France...
1/ From the Chaussières parking lot, follow rue Rostangs to Place de la Mairie. Climb to the Trico crossroads (600 m), skirt the cemetery and continue on the GR® 95 trail.

2/ At the Suel crossroads (650 m), continue along the Ruisseau des Caux into the hollow of the combe, cross the ford and climb the path through the undergrowth.

3/ At the signpost, 500 m before Baïn farm, take the forest path on the left. At the fork, leave the path that climbs directly up to Pié de Boeuf on the left and go right. The path climbs up the wooded slopes of the combe, makes a long right-hand switchback and then reaches the crest of Les Caux (1,121 m), where it joins the GR® 95 (white-red).

4/ Go straight on, staying on the slope below the ridge, until you reach the Pié de Boeuf viewpoint (viewpoint). Descend along the path, which winds broadly up the slope on the adret (thyme, lavender). Continue downhill under the pines to reach the Baume crossroads (860 m).

5/ Continue in the same direction (east), cross the stream at the climbing school and reach the Suel crossroads (650 m). Rejoin the itinerary of the outward journey by turning right onto the track (GR® 95) to the village.
