After the wooded valleys, open glades and alpine pastures, it's up to the imagination to find the drawbridge, totem pole, rocket, ice cream or sphinx drawn by the curious blades of tapered rock gilding their faces at the edge of the ruis...
1/ At the "Borne" signpost (921 m), before the bridge, take the path to the left (north) that climbs the valley towards Col de Plainie. Cross the stream on a wooden bridge. Go around the Plainie hut to the right and take the grassy path due north (follow the signs! view over the valley). The path leads through meadows and woods to Plainie Côte (1,408 m).
