From Die to Valcroissant, follow the foothills of the southern Vercors, passing the beautiful Pas de Bret viewpoint over the Clairette de Die vineyards to reach Valcroissant Abbey.
::D/A:: Drive through the Die urban area. At the south-east exit, turn left onto the departmental road (D 742), in the direction of Romeyer. Follow the Meyrosse stream on its left bank.
::1:: At "Le Riou Merle" campsite, follow the small road to the right for 1 km. Pass under an aqueduct. Take the "Chemin des Vignes". 50m after the "voie sans issue" sign, leave the road and follow the path up the mountainside to the left. The path then passes through a Scots pine forest.
::2:: After several hairpin bends, crossroads post "Pas de Bret".
::3:: At the top of the ridge, take the first path through the forest, left in a hairpin bend, opposite the "Pas de Sagatte" crossroads post. The path then descends steadily. It becomes a path, passes by the ruined farmhouse of Serre-Jean and joins a forest track leading to Valcroissant Abbey. ::D/A::
