Le vallon de Combeau

Ophrys and Orchis blossom in spring in this untouched space of rare beauty, dedicated to pastoralism and hiking, which gives access to the Vercors high plateaux, the largest nature reserve in mainland France.
1/ From the parking area, take the wide path to the Bergerie de Combau (1508m).
2/ Take a path on the right that leads to the Essaure hut and further on to the Essaure pass, where the view opens up to the 7th wonder of the Dauphiné: Mont Aiguille.
3/ Return along the same path.
Zones d'estive de juin à octobre, présence de chiens de protection. Attention respectez la réglementation en vigueur dans la réserve naturelle des hauts-plateaux du Vercors. Privilégiez le co-voiturage et la basse saison pour éviter l'affluence sur ce site protégé.
