At the foot of the Vercors cliffs and one of France's most beautiful villages, this highest vineyard in France produces AOC wines that are almost 100% organically grown. It features just over 70 cabanons scattered across its small plots.

Step by step

1/ From the Cabanon du Maupas (alt. 536m), head back towards the village of Châtillon, turning right twice to reach the Cabanon du Poët (alt. 555m).

2/ At the crossroads, turn left, then left again, then right to reach the Serre du Poët (alt. 571m) and its view of France's highest vineyard and its AOC wines.

3/ At the crossroads, go straight on, then turn right twice to reach Barsac (alt. 568m) and left to reach the Ruisseau du Pibou (alt. 558m).

4/ Turn right twice to reach Beylière (alt. 547m) and right again to reach Les Cerisiers (alt. 556m).

5/ Then turn left towards Les Quatres Chemins (alt. 549m) to complete the discovery of this atypical vineyard by returning to Cabanon du Poët (alt. 555m), then to Cabanon du Maupas (alt. 536m) and back to the parking lot.
